Section 01
Who this notice is from
This notice is issued by PlanetU Technovision Pvt. Ltd., trading as PlanetU, of Office No 1, Ghanshyam Park, Dhole Patil Road, Pune 411001, Maharashtra, India. It covers https://planetu.co.in and the enquiries that reach us through it.
We handle personal data under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act). In the language of that Act we are the Data Fiduciary — the organisation that decides why and how your personal data is processed — and you are the Data Principal. We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you choose to contact us, and for the legitimate uses the Act permits, such as answering an enquiry you started.
What this notice does not cover
Work we carry out inside a client’s own systems — a CRM we configure, a campaign platform we run, an HRMS we implement — is governed by the agreement covering that engagement, not by this page. In that work the client is usually the Data Fiduciary and we act on their instructions.
Section 02
What we collect
Information you send through the contact form
The contact form collects a first name, last name, email address, phone number, company name, service interest and the message you write. Phone number and company name are optional. You choose what to put in the message field, so please do not include anything you would not want held in an inbox.
Information we receive when you email or call
If you write to info@planetu.co.in or call +91 7030440009 or +91 9922990425, we hold whatever you send or tell us for as long as we need it to answer you and to keep a record of what was agreed.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard web server logs for every request — IP address, user agent, the page requested and the time. These are a normal part of running a website and are used to keep it available and secure.
What we never collect here
No payment is ever taken through this website. There is no checkout, no card form and no payment processor connected to it, so we never collect or handle payment card data through this site. Invoicing for actual work happens outside the website entirely.
Section 03
Where your information goes
Web3Forms — contact form delivery
This site is a static export with no server of its own, so a form submission posts directly to Web3Forms (web3forms.com), a form-relay service that emails the submission to us. It receives the name, email address, phone number, company name, service interest and message you entered, and uses your email address as the reply-to on the resulting email. It does not receive anything else. This route is only active when the form is configured with an access key; when it is not, the form does not accept submissions at all and offers you our email address and phone numbers instead.
Umami Cloud — analytics
Where analytics is enabled on this site we use Umami Cloud, which is cookieless and aggregate: page views, referrer and rough country. It sets no cookies, collects no personal data, uses no advertising identifiers, and does not follow you across other websites. We use it to see which pages are read, not who read them. The script only loads when a website ID has been configured; until then no analytics request is made at all.
Hosting
The site is served by a third-party hosting provider, which holds the server logs described above on our behalf.
Transfers outside India
Web3Forms, Umami Cloud and our hosting provider may process data on servers outside India. We only use providers that we consider to apply appropriate safeguards, and transfers are made in line with the DPDP Act and any restrictions the Central Government notifies under it.
Section 05
How we use it
We use what you send to reply to you, to prepare a quote or proposal where you asked for one, to carry out work you have engaged us for, and to keep the records Indian tax and company law requires us to keep.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
- We make no automated decisions about you. Every enquiry is read and answered by a person.
- We do not send marketing email to people who only asked us a question. If we ever start a mailing list it will be one you opt into, with an unsubscribe link in every message.
Children
This is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect the personal data of anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to info@planetu.co.in and we will delete it.
Section 06
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become clients — kept for 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted.
- Client records — contracts, invoices and the correspondence behind them are kept for 8 years from the end of the financial year they relate to, which is the period Indian tax and company law requires.
- Server logs — kept for our hosting provider’s standard retention period, which is typically short and measured in weeks.
Where the law requires us to keep something, we keep it even if you ask for erasure, and we tell you that is why. Everything else goes.
Section 07
Your rights as a Data Principal
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- Access — ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and what we are doing with it.
- Correction and completion — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or completed, and out-of-date data updated.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your personal data where we are not required by law to retain it.
- Withdraw consent — as easily as you gave it. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing already carried out.
- Nomination — nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
- Grievance redressal — complain to us about how we have handled your data, and escalate if our answer does not satisfy you. See the last section.
To exercise any of these, write to info@planetu.co.in from the address you contacted us on, or tell us enough for us to find your record. There is no charge.
Section 08
Security
Submissions from this site travel over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Enquiries land in a mailbox with access limited to the people who answer them, protected by strong passwords and multi-factor authentication. Client records are held on access-controlled accounts, and access is removed when someone leaves or no longer needs it.
No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Act requires, and tell you plainly what happened and what we are doing about it.
Section 09
Grievance redressal and contact
Questions, requests and complaints about this notice or about your personal data go to info@planetu.co.in, or by post to PlanetU Technovision Pvt. Ltd., Office No 1, Ghanshyam Park, Dhole Patil Road, Pune 411001, Maharashtra, India. Mark it for the attention of the Grievance Officer.
We acknowledge every request and respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, or we do not respond in that time, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act.
Changes to this notice
If the way we handle personal data changes, we update this page and change the date at the top of it. This version is effective 18 August 2026.
